About UnEarth
This site started out with the intent to promote the hobby of uncovering lost items through the use of metal detectors. It has since extended beyond just that and now serves a showcase to record and archive collectibles or art pieces that I acquired over time, both from metal detectors as well as direct purchases made on-line or via traditional means.
Thank you.

Hi there, that’s a cool initiative, but I’m unsure as to what we can find here. :(

Well, it does look like you are not alone. Being where we are and based on what we have here, there is really limited in what we can expect. Most of the land here are “processed”, some many times over. Did a couple of scanning recently and found mainly nails, aluminium tabs, metal scraps etc. Realized the top soil used for planting are pretty much “polluted” with scrap metals. We had also went on a wooded trail recently and tried out our metal detectors. Did not find much but an iron pipe and some other litter. Fortunately the trekking was interesting but exhausting. Will post it up when I gather more pictures taken from the trip. However there are a couple of them posted on our homepage ( http://windslider.com/?page_id=23 ). Have a look.
All said, we have just started this hobby and so far had covered only a small part of the island. Will continue with it and hopefully will make some good find to share with all in the near future.
